Hosted by the Raitt Homestead Farm Museum on the beautiful 33 acre farm at 2077 State Rd. in Eliot Maine the Celebrate MAINE Festival is an authentic family festival designed to celebrate the people, places and products of Maine.  Held in conjunction with the Mainely Grillin' & Chillin' State BBQ Competition the entire family is sure to find something to tickle their fancy.  From great food including Bean Hole Beans and homemade strawberry shortcake,  Shipyard Brew Garden, continuous live entertainment, artisans, barrel tractor rides, bouncy house, and face painting.  The children's craft table, rock climbing wall and wagon rides are free for the entire family.  Antique farm equipment will be on display. The Colonial Encampment will be set up down in the pulling area beyond the Apple Barn. 

Only $5per person.  Children 12 and  under get in free.  Plenty of  free onsite parking.  Only 5 miles from the Kittery Outlet Malls!

Over 44 teams are signed up to compete in the Mainely Grillin' & Chillin' State BBQ Competition held during the Festival.

 Saturday and Sunday the gates open at 9am.  The Children's Corner opens with the free games, rock wall climbing,  creativity table and  wagon rides.  Other activities for a nominal fee are face painting, barrel tractor rides and the Bouncy House.  The Colonial encampment will be set up down at the end of the parking lot for everyone to visit as part of Eliot's 200 year Celebration. Visit artisans, marketplace and the green expo as well as the Shipyard Brew Garden, Wymans and Cabot Creamery Booths.  Live Entertainment will be on stage and plenty of homemade food will be available the entire weekend.  Bean whole Beans will once again be made as well as the world famous homemade strawberry shortcake.  Both will once again be available until we run out! 

Open 9am to 7pm both days.  100% of the proceeds from the CMF/MGCB go towards the preservation and restoration of the beautiful 33 acre Raitt Homestead Farm Museum.  We are a registered non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to educating future generations and the community at large about farming history.
